15 Dice Games for your next family game night!

I hope you’ve had a chance to read about my very favorite therapy tool, The Notorious D.I.E.! Now it’s time to start targeting all those amazing skills dice have to offer–fine motor strength and coordination skills, visual discrimination, form constancy, problem solving, matching, math skills, and more! Check out all these tried and true dice games that are good for a range of ages as well as individuals to large groups. You won’t have trouble finding one that suits your needs.

Just one requirement…leave those cups out of it! Encourage everyone to use their hands to pick up and shake the dice in those cupped hands!

Rolling dice out of a cup. WooTherapy recommends not using a cup when playing dice games in order to work on fine motor, motor planning, and grading of force in children.

Love, Love, Love. My family hosts a family game night at least once a week. I am always looking for new games to add to our collection. These are some great recommendations.

I have personally played Farkle, Yahtzee and RLC. All are fantastic games. RLC is not only great to play with kids, but can be fun for an all-adults group as well.

Please keep all the great content coming; I look forward to reading more.
